The POS hosts five monthly in-person meetings to be held in the NEW venue space: PNC Champions Club at Acrisure Stadium (located on the North Side). Attendance is between 55 and 70 physician members. The format for the evening includes a lectures, social time (exhibitors welcome) and dinner.

The in-person program provides a unique opportunity for industry representatives to engage with members of the Society in a collegial setting while supporting a quality lecture presented by distinguished guest faculty.  

Sole Sponsorship and Co-Sponsorship opportunities are available to meet your needs.

  • Attendee list before and after the meeting.
  • Provided 5 minutes of podium time to present your company's product. You may include a power point during this your presentation, but please be mindful of the 5-minute timeframe.
  • Participate in the "Visit with Exhibitors" networking session. This 45-minutes session provides Exhibitors the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with physicians.

Society Mission

To act as the voice of ophthalmologic medicine in the Pittsburgh area, to serve as a patient advocate in promoting preventive eye care, quality medical and surgical care and rehabilitative services for individuals with ophthalmologic diseases and to advance the knowledge, science and practice of ophthalmology, to assist in the improvement of the quality of ophthalmologic medicine and training therein, and to promote integrity in the practice of ophthalmic medicine.
