The POS hosts five monthly in-person meetings to be held in  the Ohio Ballroom at the Rivers Casino (located on the North Side). Attendance is between 55 and 75 physician members. The format for the evening includes a lectures, social time (exhibitors welcome) and dinner. 

The in-person programs provide a unique opportunity for industry representatives to engage with members of the Society in a collegial setting while supporting a quality lecture presented by distinguished guest faculty.

Sole Sponsorship and Co-Sponsorship opportunities are available to meet your needs.

To act as the voice of ophthalmologic medicine in the Pittsburgh area, to serve as patient advocate in promoting preventive eye care, quality medical and surgical care and rehabilitative services for individuals with ophthalmologic diseases and to advance the knowledge, science and practice of ophthalmology, to assist in the improvement of the quality of ophthalmologic medicine and training therein, and to promote integrity in the practice of ophthalmic medicine.
